ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for talented software professionals to join our Technology Team.  We work with various development environments including .NET, AMX, Crestron, and Flash. You will be exposed to a wide array of technologies and tools that will greatly broaden your current skill set.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement and contribute to a variety of software-based automation and special system solutions.Perform installation and testing of software and troubleshooting the interface and automation system.  May be performed on-site or remotely.Administer and configure the platform automation system that employs Flash and Windows server software.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Strong computer programming background – C#, Flash ActionScript, C preferred.Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts.Experience with developer tools such as Issue Tracking and Version Control.Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with an ability to work effectively on small teams.  Ability to respond to dynamic work and project requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

BS in Computer Science or equivalent.2+ years of professional software development, including experience designing, troubleshooting, and testing software.

DESIRED SKILLS

Strong skills and experience with Flash Professional 8. Strong skills and experience with Enterprise-Level software tools such as Visual Studio .NET and MS SQL Server.Willingness to learn new skills and take on increasing responsibilities.  Additional experience with IT technologies. Graphic Design ExperienceEnthusiastic interest in home automation technologies including lighting, A/V, climate and security systems.
