ABOUT THE CORPORATE LEGAL SECRETARY POSITION

 

A well established law firm in downtown Seattle is seeking a Legal Secretary on a full-time direct-hire basis experienced with corporate matters primarily involving corporate formations, incorporations, mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions.

 

Corporate & Real Estate Legal Secretary Position Duties:

Prepare Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization and other documents necessary for filing with the Secretary of State; Prepare purchase and sale agreements, deeds and other real estate documents; Transcribe dictation; Extensive proofreading and editing of documents; Assist in the preparation of closing binders; Set-up, organize and maintain all files; Other administrative tasks as assigned.

 

CORPORATE & REAL ESTATE LEGAL SECRETARY SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

 

To be immediately considered for this great Corporate & Real Estate Legal Secretary opportunity, you should have the following:

 

Knowledge of corporate forms (S-Corp, C-Corp, LLC, etc.); Knowledge of corporate recordkeeping, annual maintenance and annual shareholders/board of directors meetings; Knowledge of Washington state requirements in regards to formation and maintenance; Experience with real estate transactions; A high proficiency with MS Word, Access and Excel.
