We are looking for an experienced Lean Engineer to work with our lean / process leadership to achieve operational goals.

In this role, you will:

Utilize teaming and lean methodologies to create a culture of and drive continuous process improvements. Educate/train employees on lean process improvement methodologies. Work with cross-functional teams across the organization to implement lean process improvements, particularly the standardization of processes. Manage/lead lean process improvement projects.\ Continuously improve the focus upon internal and external customers. Reduce manufacturing process cycle time. Focus upon meeting the expectations of customers and the reduction/elimination of non-value added activities. Qualifications • Bachelors Degree (industrial or manufacturing engineering is preferred) or equivalent work experience. • 3+ years successful manufacturing experience driving continuous process improvements. • Understanding and effective utilization of Lean methodologies. • Proven ability to drive (cultural) change; challenges the status quo and looks for ways to improve team and organizational performance; champions new initiatives and stimulates others to make changes. • Proven ability to analyze problems and make decisions; effectively analyzes issues and makes sound, logical business decisions in a timely manner. • Strong achievement orientation; demonstrates strong personal drive, initiative and persistence; is motivated by challenges and determined in the face of setbacks. • Effective interpersonal skills; develops and maintains working relationships with a diverse spectrum of people/customers (ex. leadership, peers, internal and external customers etc.); conveys respect for others’ perspectives and contributions; demonstrates that maintaining effective working relationships is a priority. • Solid verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent change management, team building, and leadership skills and experience. • Project management skills required. • Lean implementation experience is preferred.
