The Lead SAP Portal Analyst supports The Hershey Company's Manager and Employee Service processes, on the SAP EP 7.0 platform. This person will lead the technical design in the development and maintenance of the Manager and Employee Service applications. This person will be responsible for delivering SAP Portal solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. This person will provide complex solution design, development and testing involving the integration of multiple products, processes, or systems into complete business solutions. They will work closely with customers, team members, and other staff across the IS organization to understand business IT requirements that drive analysis and design of technical solutions. Is competent to work on all phases of implementation and coordinate the activities of a few development staff.
- Design, develop, maintain and deliver SAP Manager and Employee Services via ITS, Webdynpro, Guided Procedures and HTML.
- Testing and verification of enhancements and new development.
- Provides estimates and may participate in budget and planning processes
- Understands and participates in Hershey's IS internal processes
- Actively interacts with internal customers
- Actively keeps abreast of new developments in their application area
- Participate in support of production system (24 X 7).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
1=Basic level of proficiency-Basic understanding of the subject matter and some applicable "hands-on experience in a specific environment"
2=Intermediate level of proficiency- "Hands on more extensive experience in multiple or diverse environments"
3 = Advanced level of proficiency- Subject matter breadth and depth i.e. strategy development, monitors industry trends and directions and provides internal recommendations. Could serve as an internal consultant on the subject matter.

ABAP: Proficiency Level: 3.
User Exits, BADIs, RFCs, Smartforms, OOABAP, BDCs, Call Transactions, List Programming.
ABAP-HR: Proficiency Level 3.
OM and PA Reports using logical databases and report categories. Conversant with Creation of Infotypes. Conversant with Compensation Management module.
Portal Skills:
Portal Content Management: Proficiency Level 3.
Development of Iviews, Pages and Worksets. Maintaining HTML Content on the pages. Designing look-and-feel of the portal. Development of JSP and JSPDynPage Iviews using SAP Netweaver Studio/ Eclipse environment. Proficient in Java, Javascript and JSP Technologies.
Workflow: Proficiency Level: 1
Maintainence of MSS PCRs and Requisitions workflow templates. Runtime Diagnosis of Workflow includes agent reassignment and work item execution.
Internet Transaction Server (ITS) ESS Services: Proficiency Level: 2
Modification of HTML templates of services like Benefits. Customization of services like Training and Events, Address Maintenance, etc.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration with emphasis on computer applications. Or equivalent work experience
Experience:
4 years of SAP Enterprise Portal experience, including Employee and Manager Portal Self Service applications development.
