Direct hire position with great benefits!! Minimum Bachelor of Science Engineering degree, Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering. Masters degree and/or PE in state of Oklahoma are a plus but not required. Proficiency with office computer programs specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings including both General Arrangement and Fabrication Detail drawings. Experience with CAD programs ( AutoCAD and Microstation) are a plus. Prefer a minimum of five years industry experience in structural design; familarity with industrial standards for structrual design e.g. ASCE, AISC, amd ASME. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems e.g. ISO 9001. Experience with welding technology and metallurgy is a plus. Occasional travel to client's offices and/or plant sites, including international is required.
Will review job-related specifications for design conditions, perform all engineering calculations necessary for producing a viable steel structural design, provide calculated steel weights for specific product designs, develop foundation loading diagrams for specific product designs, design tube supports for high-temperature applications, calculated terminal loads and movements related to thermal expansion effects.
