HOT!  HOT!!  HOT!!!  Harris Group Inc., a design-engineering firm, currently has openings in our Atlanta, Georgia; Appleton, Wisconsin; and Portland, Oregon offices for Lead Mechanical Engineers with a BSME and a minimum of 8 years experience in Pulp & Paper, Chemical Processing, Energy or Industrial Manufacturing.

 

Successful candidates must be well-organized, self-motivated, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and enjoy working within a team environment.  Registered Professional Mechanical Engineers are preferred.  All candidates must be able to acquire PE registration within two years.

 

Candidates should have understanding of engineering techniques commonly used in process industries, including:

 

piping engineeringpipe stress analysispump and fan calculationssizing and specification of tanks, equipment and pumps

 

A working knowledge of AutoCAD, CADWorx, Ceaser II and PipeFlow software is preferred.

Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
