Description:
**This position will provide technical expertise necessary to design, develop, implement and monitor manufacturing systems for cold forming, heading and extrusion. **Coordinates the acquisition of new equipment and machines including but not limited to assisting with the business case, floor space allocation, development of functional specifications, development of acceptance criteria, monitors installation and ensures equipment and machines meet final run-off criteria. **Responsible for the design and procurement of all required tooling and other miscellaneous equipment required for the process. **May be asked to contribute to the design of new products and processes and performs product and process maintenance. **Collaborate with employees at all levels including significant interaction with hourly technicians that work in these processes. **Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, standard work, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.

Requirements:
**Previous experience in tool design and development for cold-forming, heading and extrusion processes. **Previous experience in project management for new capital equipment and machines, including development of functional specifications, development of acceptance criteria, installation and final run-off. **Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and AutoCAD. **Would like to have cold forming with a steel background.
