Job Description:

 

Month-end, quarter and year-end close for assigned areasPrepare journal entries for month-end, quarter and year-endOwnership of the fixed asset accounting processOwnership of real estate and equipment lease review and accounting world-wideStreamline the Fixed Asset construction-in-progress projects processAssist with system upgrades for Fixed Assets module as neededPerform reconciliations and analysis for assigned balance sheet accountsAssist with reviewing of month-end, quarter and year-end financial statementsPrepare world-wide fluctuation analyses for assigned balance sheet areas, including analyses of currency fluctuation impactPrepare assigned schedules for quarterly reviews and annual audit Responsible for high impact analyses, where adjustments are material to the company financial results, such as Goodwill and  Intangible Asset Impairment analysisAccounting for Restructuring and analysis of related reservesFringe benefit analysisFAS123(R) calculationsAssist with SOX 404 documentation and testing for assigned processesDocument, create, develop and maintain policies and proceduresPrepare schedules in support of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) for assigned areasResponsible for continuous process improvement in the areas of responsibilityLead projects for assigned areas

 

 

Qualification:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is requiredMinimum of five years relevant experience is required, with at least two years of General LedgerFixed Asset accounting experience is requiredOracle experience is requiredStrong technical and analytical skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesMust be very well organized and have strong time  management skillsMust be multi-task orientedKnowledge of GAAP (CPA a plus but not required)Strong oral and written communication skillsAuthorized to work in the US
