Position Summary:

 

Hands on leader and expert contributor responsible for lead generation, demand generation, brand development and sales support for the applications management and professional services business line with industry leading capabilities with Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics, Lawson, Kronos, and custom applications in a managed hosting environment.

 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer with dotted line to the SVP of  Enterprise Applications and Professional Services, he/she will define the appropriate target audience, competitive value proposition, go to market strategy and marketing mix (PPC, online media, direct mail, email, trade shows and events, sales tools, etc.) to effectively market and drive sales for these services, and direct successful and timely execution and optimization.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Be accountable for lead generation and customer demand generation to enable application management and professional services business unit meet its quarterly sales and customer acquisition goals

·         Define and design optimized marketing mix and campaigns for the application management and professional services product/service lines to meet finalcial and strategic goals

·         Conduct market and competitive analysis, customer segmentation, value proposition and product positioning for customer targeting and sales.

·         Development of appropriate product content, marketing collateral, sales tools, and training materials to enable the sales team effectively sell the products and services.

·         Succesfully navigate cross-functional interaction with internal and client teams, including Sales, Marketing and service delivery functions

 

What We Are Looking For:

 

Ideal candidates will have:

 

Seven years of hands-on experience as Product Marketing Manager/Director in the high-tech and/or web centric businesses with focus on applications development, implementation and professional services.Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts into easy to understand marketing media and messaging.Direct experience using marketing media and on-line techniques to drive lead generation and demand creation, along with ability to support a highly driven sales team.Results driven, high energy professional with strong work ethics. Bachelors degree required. MBA not required but a plus.
