We are a Gambling Retail Store where the public and private sectors can buy thousands of genuine casino quality gambling products for use in casinos, home or office. We have over 5,000 unique items that can be shipped anywhere in the world.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Directs all selling, marketing, and operating activities for retail division, which includes office phone, email and fax sales; physical store sales; internet sales. Primary manager responsible for (i) achieving division profit goals, maintaining and growing customer base, maintaining market competitiveness, and overseeing back office, warehousing and product development resources.  Performs the following duties either personally or through a team of subordinate employees, for whom he or she provides leadership, motivation, and direction. This position requires a candidate to have an entrepreneurial approach.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience/Knowledge

 

          Must have 3-5 years sales management or supervisor experience in comparable retail store environment

          Knowledge of fundamental retail sales metrics, and experience using these to drive sales and profit objectives – sales per sq. ft., inventory turn, gross margin, custom acquisition

          (Preferred) 1-3 years experience crafting sales strategy within an Internet of direct mail/catalog sales business

          (Preferred) In-depth knowledge of, and/or established contacts within, the casino and/or gaming supply industry

Ability to effectively lead a stand-alone retail store operation and direct-to-consumer catalog, mail, fax, phone office sales team without day-to-day direction from supervisor; ability to command the respect of the entire organization and motivate the team toward a common goal:

 Ability to effectively create and maintain a teamwork environment

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

General Management

        Oversee the development of, and execution against, annual profit and revenue growth plans for the retail division.

          Establish/maintain clear performance expectations within the organization; instill/maintain a performance –oriented culture

          Supervise staff by defining and prioritizing goals and work direction; oversee and direct, as necessary, the day to day operations of the office, warehouse/shipping and retail store

          Recruit, interview, and select successful team members; ensure proper training and development of new team members

          Develop and maintain a productive personnel environment –resolve employee conflicts, direct performance development plans; serve as a primary liaison with Corporate HR resources

          Enforce Corporate personnel practices as they apply to all subordinate staff, including timely performance development plans (PDPs) and consistent work rule application

          Ensure adequate product supply for complete product line, including casino remnants and cancelled supplies

          Interface with key suppliers, including Casino Supply Division for dice, to ensure product supply meets cost, quality, and delivery requirements

          Be a role model for the Corporate Core Values – Honesty, Humility, Mutual Respect, Discipline, Passion/Enthusiasm/Determination

 

 Sales

          Establish strategy for identifying, acquiring, retaining and developing customer base for office sales, Internet sales, and retail store sales –including local, print, in-room/cable media, yellow page, Internet and outdoor advertising.  Measure and monitor results against established goals.

          Oversee office and retail store sales personnel; ensure incentive and compensation structure aligns personnel objectives with division goals; coach and mentor as necessary to close performance gaps

          Direct promotional strategy, as necessary, for achieving sales objectives

          Identify new “opportunity accounts” for incremental distribution of products; collaborate with Corporate mmarketing and supply chain resources to identify with Marketing to develop appropriate product offerings for these classes of trade

          Oversee pricing strategy; work with the local Controller to regularly evaluate profitability by product line and adjust price as necessary

          Provide reliable weekly sales forecasts based on sufficient analytical rigor to determine what drove positive or negative variances on a monthly basis

 

Marketing

          Regularly evaluate product line profitability and sales velocity; refine product line to drive sales growth and avoid inventory obsolescence

          Identify new opportunities for product development, e.g. customized playing cards, new gaming products

          Direct graphics department in the development of new chip design lines; ensure prompt delivery of custom chip orders
