RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Candidate will be responsible for assisting with the operation and maintenance of the vivarium. Requirements include daily health monitoring, cage preparation, husbandry, receiving animals, ordering supplies, record keeping and inventory. Additional responsibilities include assistance with in vivo studies including blood collection and injections (ip, sc, iv).

REQUIREMENTS

AA or BS degree in animal or biological sciences is preferred, but not required. Previous experience in a vivarium required including experience in animal care, husbandry and handling. Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.
