The Electromagnetics & Electronics Systems Division of L-3 has the following positions available in Colorado Springs, CO.

This position will perform/lead field and lab testing and supervise technicians in field and lab setting.

Job duties include but not limited to:
•Perform laboratory and field testing of various hardware and equipment using antennas, field sensors, current probes, RF instrumentation and customized pulsed power equipment to demonstrate the ability of the subsystem and system under test to withstand stresses from Electromagnetic Pulse.
•Technical lead in setting up the antennas and sensors, the measurement equipment and assist in acquiring the test data.
•Perform MIL-STD-188-125 Testing.
•Supervise technician staff (assign tasks, mentor, performance appraisals, etc.).
•Maintain test schedules.
•Manage lab equipment (repairs, upgrades, modification).
•Travel up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements:
-AA in Electronics or successful completion of military electronics technical training.
-Minimum 10 years experience as an electronics technician to include supervisory experience and hands on EM and Pulse Power Testing.
-Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software.
-Strong communication and customer service skills.
-U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

-Current DOD/DOE security clearance a plus.
