The Key Account Manager in the Las Vegas/Arizona area will develop and manage the national and regional Convenience Store accounts to achieve assigned sales and profit goals. They will need to develop and implement Customer Sales Plans consistent with national and geographic strategies and tactics aimed at driving volume and distribution of our entire portfolio of brands in all units in all their accounts. Major Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Achieving channel objectives, KPIs and targets at assigned key customers. Where directed, the KAM develops new customers in a manner that will achieve short and long-term, profitable growth at the account Business Planning: Participate in the integrated Commercial Planning Process (ICP is the annual planning process) through development of annual Customer Plans that support Brand and Channel Plans in Convenience Store Channels. New Business/Customers: Where directed, identify sales opportunities by cold calling, networking and fact-finding and calling on and closing new accounts National Accounts Programs: Manage execution of NWNA National Account agreements / contracts at the district, area and regional levels and perform visual audits of accounts, correct compliance issues identify new sales opportunities Customers: Manage and penetrate customers at all levels and develop relationships with commercial and non-commercial accounts that enable achievement of plans and objectives Selling: Prepare and deliver effective selling presentations that implement approved Customer Business Plans and employ effective negotiating strategies Execution: Communicate approved retail activities, promotional plans, merchandising (POS and equipment) and new item authorizations with the Retail Team to ensure relentless retail execution Performance Tracking: Leverage management tools (KPI status, SAM, Nielsen,etc.) to analyze data on a variety of critical business drivers ranging from coverage productivity and time allocation to retail conditions and program compliance Trade Funds: Ensure promotional programs for assigned customers comply with approved trade fund spending levels and ensure compliance with Nestle financial standards Profitability: Improve margin performance at assigned accounts (product mix, trade spending, operations, special packs) Budgets: Manage budgets (T&E, POS and equipment) DIRECT CUSTOMERS (Where Applicable) Forecasting: Develop timely and accurate forecasts (volume and spend) for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year INDIRECT CUSTOMERS (Where Applicable) Forecasting: Provide feedback to support accurate forecast REQUIREMENTS: 1. Key Account or sales experience calling on C-Store headquarters 2. Must understand C-Store Retail market and dealing with major groups (Coremark, McLane and DSD Vendors) 3. 4+ years field sales and account mgmt. Consumer packaged goods experience preferred. 4. Direct account experience (Ex. Calling on stores such as Terrible Herbst, Circle K, 4 Sons etc.) 5. Bachelors Degree RESPOND HERE!
