no|inc is a small boutiqueorganization with a close-knit, highly-focused staff specializing in two areas:technology and design.  We prideourselves on the strength of both these practices in and of themselves, but,most importantly, in their ability to achieve through collaboration, creativityand craftsmanship. 

 

 

Job Description

The selected candidate willwork in a fast-paced team environment. If you are good, you WILL enjoy working here.  The atmosphere is very positive for those whocan earn their keep.

 

no|inc keeps a diverseclient list and the selected candidate will be exposed to a wide variety ofprojects and tasks. These tasks include: programming, database implementation,testing, documentation, support and maintenance. 

 

 

 

Requirements

Working well with others isessential, as this position will have

constant contacts withdesigners as well as other developers. Attention to detail is critical as wellas a pride in the quality of one's work, and the ability to manage one's timeand meet deadlines. 

 

You should be able to grasp boththe philosophy and implementation specifics behind a new technology in a shortperiod of time.  You should have a touchof mad scientist in you.  You shouldthrive on intelligent implementations: possessing a taste for algorithms,optimization, intelligent problem-solving, modular design. 

 

You should revel in thebeauty that lies in applying a series of “simple,” smart, almost “minimalist”approaches in order to solve a larger series of complex problems; rather thanbrute force and excessive programming.

 

 

A degree (in Computer Science, to be specific) would impress us but it’s not required if your skills are up to par. Candidate must have experience working with Linux, Apache, MySQL PHP Experience with any the following is a major plus: Flash/ActionScript/FLEX, XUL, advanced JavaScript, CSS/semantic XHTML, XML/XSLT, ASP.NET, MS Visual Studio (i.e. C#, VB, VC++), Java/JSP, C
