POSITION SUMMARY: Seeking Junior Customer Development Account Manager to support assigned RBM in the Chilled Sales organization. This position is responsible for supporting the Chilled Beverage Wal-Mart business and will be located in Bentonville, AR. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist in managing the assigned customer, participate in the integrated business planning process with our internal and external customers and continually strive to reduce costs and operate within assigned budget. Performance objectives are to attain or exceed current and long-term Sales, Distribution and Merchandising goals in accordance with Nestlé sales plans, programs and budgets. The key 'Performance' indicators are Sales volume, Real internal growth, Profits, Brand share, New item Speed to shelf, Share of shelf, Displays and Merchandising in line with company established MPR's. The key 'Quality' indicators are Trade funds, Unsaleables, Deductions, Perfect invoice, SG and A, Forecasting and Out of stocks management. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Primary responsibilities include supporting assigned RBM/CDAM with, but not limited to the following: Profitable Sales Growth 1. Achieve or exceed established sales goals for account/SBU responsibility while staying within budget. 2. Develop annual business plans with account and entry into the ISW System. 3. Communicate information with retail sales group. 4. Presenting all new items and promotions to account. 5. Deduction Management: Clear deductions within 30 days and participate in the unauthorized deduction strategy meetings and prepare action plan to Director (ex: cash in advance, loss of services, etc. 6. Trade Fund Management a. Prepare key account plans in order to maximize trade performance against accruals. b. Present overall trade deal spending strategy to account (i.e. full disclosure) as necessary. c. Participates in top line review of trade spending report status monthly for potential over/under spending opportunities. d. Participates in detailed review of trade spending report status quarterly for potential over/under spending conditions and communicates any potential issues or concerns to Director and Sales Finance. e. Participates in making spending or programming adjustments when necessary to optimize spending within budget. 7. Spoils Management: Manage customer to Nestlé Spoils policy, participates in the process of creating an action plan to achieve unsaleable objectives and in presenting an unsaleable action plan to accounts as necessary. 8. Demand Planning: Review history and trends and complete account forecasts and updates (ISW). Responsible for completion of special pack projection. Business Management 1. New Item Launch: Attend Category Sales Development and national sales meetings, prepare presentations for account calls and present to customer, and communicate new item plans, status, codes, and planograms to retail to fully execute. 2. Business Review: Conduct Business reviews with account and Nestlé management when needed. 3. Target Marketing: Solicit and suggest feasible ideas for Target Marketing Programs. 4. Category Management Review a. Assess need, time frame and scope of Category Management Projects/Reviews. Identify any historical issues from past reviews and ensure the review addresses them. Provide feedback to Category Management Personnel throughout the presentation development process. b. Preview content, personnel attendance and time requirements of final Category Management presentation. 5. Organizing: Arrange work for effective accomplishment of results. Includes: setting priorities, effective utilization of time, proper delegation of tasks and coordinating work. 6. Controlling a. Monitor and modify work to achieve desired results. Include analysis of business progress, recommending corrective action and follow-through of plans to completion. b. Use sound judgment in controlling expenses. Reduce costs and operate the organization in the most efficient manner. Meet established budget standards. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: * College degree preferred or equivalent experience * Travel Requirements-National responsibility up to 60%: Local responsibility, 20-30% EXPERIENCE: * Have good working knowledge of Nestlé as well as assigned customer base/channel * Experience working with an Account, Retail, CSD/CM, Broker team * Store Brand sales/label development a plus GENERAL SKILLS: * Strong communications skills, both oral and written * Strong judgment in decision-making * Ability to work with all levels of the organization * Possess good problem solving skills * Strong presentation skills SPECIFIC SKILLS: * Knowledge of Nestlé Chilled supply chain process a plus * Background in marketing of Store Brands products * Strong computer skills, Microsoft office, ability to learn Nestlé computer programs, ISW, OLC, etc. RESPOND HERE!
