Land Resource is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our company in Orlando, FL.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with fixed assets, bank reconciliations, and wire transfers.  We need a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is excited about learning and growing in our organization.

  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Records the purchase and sale of fixed assets within FAS software and records the related depreciation expense monthly. Investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures Reconcile bank statements, note payable balances, and intercompany accounts Review cash positions daily Research property tax bills upon receipt and track each community to determine actual receipt of tax bills

  

QUALIFICATIONS:            

1-2 years accounting experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Proficient with all Microsoft applications including Excel and Word Experience with Accounting software, preferably Timberline and FAS
