Job Description: CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people! We have an immediate need for a Jr. Buyer with a minimum of 3 years of experience procuring Hardware and Software and Services. CDI Government Services is looking for a Jr. Buyer to be Procurement Manager’s right hand person. This 6 month to direct position with our client is located in Metro accessible Washington, D.C. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow with a great company, who has outstanding benefits and location. We are seeking candidates who have a minimum of 3 years of experience procuring Hardware and Software and Services. Ideally, candidates will have good experience working with various local and regional vendors, price negotiations, etc. Our client will be moving to a PeopleSoft system over the next several months, so experience with PeopleSoft is a plus (Not a must). Their current system is proprietary.
