Position Description:
Position

The position is as a Developer within the Professional Services team performing the customisations and interfacing required for implementations of the AvantGard Trax Payments Factory (Mass

Payments) in SunGard AvantGard Americas region.
The other members of the team perform roles such as Project Management, Business Analysis and Systems Configuration Analyst.
The position is immediate start.

Example tasks

o XML configuration.
o Data set-up.
o Customizations of formats and format mappings and workflows.
o Unit testing.
o Installation of the Trax system on development and acceptance environments.
o Writing release notes for each delivery (limited and basic technical documentation according to Trax standards in addition to the standard technical documentation).



Position Requirements:
Requirement

Skill sets to include:
a. Advanced java knowledge, at least 2 years of practical experience in a J2EE context in projects and products with enterprise complexity:
i. client-server application
ii. application server deployment
iii. global view on the overall implementation
b. Experience with XML
c. Fluent in English
d. Experience with application server configuration and database configuration, performance are a nice to have
e. Experience in the financial business domain is a nice to have
Location options are New York, NY; Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Expectation is that the bulk of work will be performed away from the client location but some projects will require primarily onsite development. Project duration is multiple weeks.
