We are currently looking for a Java Developer for our client located in Washington, DC. Candidates must have proven ability to develop code with minimum supervision. Familiarity with component based design is a must. Experience with Rational Software Architect or similar design tools needed. Also able to develop comprehensive unit test plans. Familiarity with Javadoc, Junit. Rational ClearCase helpful. Candidates must be experienced in translating design into java code in a distributed environment using application server, process server, and portal server.

 

Job Requirements include:

 

3-5 years Java development experience required.Ability to contribute to software architecture and develop, express, and communicate software designs. Familiarity with object-oriented design. Past experience with the full software development lifecycle. Must have demonstrated expertise exploiting the Java language for J2EE development.Knowledge of service-oriented architecture. Experience with Rational Application Developer, Eclipse or similar tools.Familiarity with Javadoc, Junit. Rational ClearCase.
