Connecticut based Hedge Fund seeks a strong world class hands on Java Developer with experience of designing and building large scale real time systems infrastructure using Core Java, Tibco for messaging, Grid Components, design patterns, data structures to join a Commodities Trading Team. You will work closely with the business to develop applications and infrastructure. You will be responsible for the significant program of transformation and re-engineering of a combined real-time and on-demand Global Risk Management System to meet the demands of a highly successful and rapidly growing equity derivatives business. This is a high performance real time multi threaded client server Core Java based application. Candidates will have a strong academic background in Computer Science in addition to proven hands on experience building real time Java based applications. Experience of using messaging tools such as Tibco will be a strong advantage. Financial industry experience is not mandatory but would be an advantage.
