Description Responsible for the design, implementation, integration, upgrade, and maintenance of dynamic web pages, Internet products, data analysis tools, and data reformation applications using ColdFusion, Oracle DB, Java Script, Java, C++, XML/XSL, and other web development platforms, languages, and tools. Responsible for definition, organization, documentation, security standards, systems, and procedures related to the development of CARFAX web sites and internet products. Provide support in creating, developing, enhancing, and maintaining the applications, products, and pages that drive the e-commerce sites. (www.CARFAX.com and www.CARFAXonline.com) Evaluate and implement new products that will work alongside and/or replace current ecommerce sites (www.CARFAX.com and www.CARFAXonline.com) and other CARFAX products. Evaluate and implement new applications and processes to improve data quality and data robustness of CARFAX Vehicle History Databases, internal support databases, and e-commerce systems. Designs, programs, does analysis, researches, and implement applications with 4th generation languages. Uses XML and XSL to deliver CARFAX core report products. Required Skills v Able to use JAVA in a windows environment. Proficient development of web applications. Implemented business to consumer and/or business to business web applications. Used Oracle or SQL databases in web or other applications. Created and implemented SQL as part of a production level web application. Required Experience Development in a Windows environment using JAVA. Minimum 1 year experience in the development web applications.
