Modis client in Greenville, SC is looking for a Java Architect to join their team.

This is a direct hire position.

WebSphere experience is required for this position.

- 8+ years working as software engineer (10+ years or more preferred), 3+ years as a lead
- 5+ years working with Java, 3+ years as a lead
- 2+ years as technical lead for portal implementations and/or 3+ years as technical lead for website implementations
- 1+ years architecting portal solutions
- 1+ years working with IBM Websphere Portal
- Experienced with UML
- Experienced with Oracle (preferred) or SQL-server
- Experience with other IBM Websphere products such as Commerce Suite and others are a plus.
- Experience with RUP or similar methodologies and related deliverables
