In addition to the help we provide to the injured patient, we are a powerful resource to those who represent injured patients. We serve attorneys and physicians by minimizing time and expense on medication and reimbursement issues. Our team is dedicated to setting a model of excellence in serving injured patients, their families, and the professionals who help them.
Position Overview
You will be responsible for prospecting and creating business relationships with partners of law firms, physicians and medical treatment facilities in Northern Missouri and Southern Illinois to develop strong business relationships that grow company revenues. Efforts center on identifying these prospects, presenting programs to principals, closing new business, and managing the relationships. Your relationships will include both the medical and legal marketplaces.
The successful candidate will be willing to learn how to canvass, and dig deep to prospect and penetrate the market. He or she will be a quick study on know how to set goals, build relationships, and close the deal. IWP wants a self-starter who welcomes accountability and the challenge of performance compensation. The Sales Director will personify IWP’s success at selling a solution to small businesses.
Responsibilities/Experience/Qualification
Position responsibilities include the following:
Identify, prioritize and pursue new and existing opportunities with IWP’s current and future customers Implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote product Prepare reports detailing trade show activity and results Monitor and evaluate the activities of the competition Manage day-to-day relationships with customers and develop a deep understanding of their needs Work with Finance, Customer Service, Pharmacy and other internal departments to understand their strategic priorities and creatively identify opportunities to support those priorities Achieve growth-oriented revenue goals and objectives Develop strong ties with key customers and key accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market Provide market information to improve product service positioning Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the legislative and regulatory environment surrounding workers’ compensation and communicate environmental analysis to senior management Assist management in formulating strategy to rapidly grow company revenues
The successful candidate will have a business owner mentality and demonstrate exceptional success in the following areas:
Service /consultative/ abstract selling (insurance, financial services, software, consulting or services sales experience would be ideal) Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization, in both a team and independent environment Ability to build high-level strategic alliances Presentation, listening, empathizing and collaboration skills Time and territory management Bi-Language Spanish preferred Knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and system a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experienceCompensation Package:
Base/incentive commensurate with experience
