People within the Client Operations-IO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location. Infrastructure Outsourcing (IO) is the ongoing management and/or improvement of activities related to a part or to the whole of a technical infrastructure (eg information systems, security systems, telecommunications networks), allowing companies to focus on their core business and competencies

The IT Security Analyst is part of the America’s IT Security Team and specializes in the implementation of security best practices aligning with both Accenture and client based policies.  Additionally, the team performs site security assessments, audits, new technology assessments, and vulnerability and risk analyses.

 

Key Responsibilities may include the following:

 

•           Implement and monitor network security mechanisms in compliance with established security policies

•           Participate and assist in external audits (clients and 3rd party)

•           Assist with periodic reviews, audits, troubleshooting, and investigations as requested

•           Provide support during site security reviews as requested

•           Implement and monitor information security policies and procedures

•           Provide consulting support regarding secure connectivity, network services and protocols

•           Provide consultation regarding various security controls and processes and policies

•           Provide support to the Computer Incident Response Team as requested

•           Ensure protection and secure implementation of the IT infrastructure

•           Demonstrate solid understanding of security architecture

•           Demonstrate functional knowledge in various components of IT: networks, firewalls, WAN, LAN, cabling, servers, voice, etc.

•           Demonstrate understanding of security best practices

•           Deliver security awareness training to both technical and non-technical personnel

•           Coordinate the work of others in a discrete section/small team

•           Ability to travel between locations

 

Qualifications

 

 Basic Qualifications:

 

•           2+ years of experience in Networking, Security or Systems Administration

•           2 years experience with any of the following:

•           Ethernet, Switching, Routing, Firewalls, IDS, Anti-virus, VPN

•           ISO 27001 and/or SAS7

•           Cryptographic tools, methods, systems and protocols (i.e. SHTTP, SET, IPsec, ISAKMP, DES/3DES, AES)

•           1+ years of project management experience

•           Bachelors Degree (or 4+ years work experience)

 

Preferred Skills:

 

•           Understanding of Security Management functions

•           Experience in network design

•           Experience conducting security audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management

•           Ability to implement and monitor information security policies and procedures

•           Security Essentials: IP concepts and behavior, Internet threats, Security Policies, Malicious Software and Anti-Virus Tools, Host-Based Perimeter Protection, PGP and Cryptography, Securing Operating Systems (Windows 2000, 2003, Unix)

•           Experience with network security architecture: network firewalls (Checkpoint, Netscreen, PIX), VPN, application gateways, intrusion testing methods and tools such as Nessus, ISS Internet Security Scanner, Retina, and System Security Scanner, intrusion detection, attack recognition and response systems such as Snort and RealSecure

•           Solid planning, organization, and implementation skills

•           Strong documentation and presentation skills

•           Customer centric approach (internal and external customers)

•           Familiarity with ISO 27001 and/or SAS70
