IT Sales Executive - NursingIn this role you will lead the strategic development of the reporting and data analysis tools provided by Hospira to its hospital customers. You will co-lead the Barcode Point-Of-Care sales activities within the Hospira’s medication management systems business as well as the selling activities for VeriScan and NetPrint application offerings, newly acquired from Sculptor Development Technologies, Inc. Additionally, you will function as a clinical/IT liaison with a strategic focus on discussing how Hospira's MMS products will impact a hospital's clinical workflow processes. Other responsibilities:Develop and execute IT business planDemonstrate product capabilities to customers Assist in customer training, customer profiling, account maintenance and local trade show management Represent Hospira in new product introductions and implementation of sales programs Provide feedback to marketing on field concerns, issues and requirements, specifically as it impacts clinical topics and issues Interact with development group to stay on the leading edge of technology advancements and assist with providing the voice of the customer into product direction Lead customer trials of Hospira's medication management systems and work with the IT systems sales teams in coordinating the logistics Oversee competitive reference program, communicating to marketing, training and sales SWAT analysis of competitive products form clinical informatics and information systems levelsTo be successful in this position, you must possess:Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with RN licensure is required; MBA or business background is desirable Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in an acute care setting 3 years of sales experience in Healthcare IT industry Formal presentation experience at the C-suite levels is preferred, specifically with nurses, pharmacists and physicians Strong technical sales background with knowledge of the healthcare information technology industry, products and systems applications Experience in selling and implementing medication management systems in hospitals Strong leadership skills in long-term sales cycles and conceptual value sales Demonstrated tactical selling skills (presentation, quotation, demonstration and closing) Excellent strategic selling skills (account analysis and business solution development) Ability to communicate complex technical information in understandable terms to Nursing/Physicians/Pharmacists Experience in project management with a demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple objectives and interface with multi-functional teams Self-motivation, teamwork spirit and detail orientation
