Continued growth and expansion has opened up a brand-new position: IT Project Coordinator.
The IT Project Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of IT Solutions Group projects, and will ensure that AVI’s resources are utilized appropriately and within budget goals. The IT Project Coordinator is part of a team, and he / she makes things happen – swiftly, profitably, safely and pleasing to our clients.
- Coordinates projects including: schedules, managing project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
- Identifies and analyzes solution requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables needed to complete the task.
- Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented and executed appropriately.
- Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs.
- Maintain expertise and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT communications fields.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, site visits and extensive travel.
- Must be accessible at all times to clients and staff by using on-call phone or messaging devices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- Position requires skill in analyzing situations, creatively implementing workable solutions, and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills definitely are required for this position
- Advanced PC and IT Networking successful prior experiences are required.
- Must be self motivated with demonstrated ability to effectively manage several tasks & projects simultaneously.
- Must be flexible regarding personal time scheduling; willing to work and travel non-traditional hours and schedules as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced PC and IT Networking Skills.
- Intermediate experience with Windows XP operating systems, Power Point
- Comprehensive understanding of Networking principals and Wireless Networking
- Some desktop support experience, such as help desk is preferred.
- Committed to significant travel and able to engage in travel outside of the United States
