The Information Technology (IT) Manager is accountable for managing the relationship between the IT Applications group and the Sensors and Integrated Systems (SIS) functional departments. The IT Manager is responsible for directing all ERP, as well as other applications, that support the business needs of the division's functional groups. Ensures support for business processes is accomplished in accordance with appropriate Service Level Agreements. Assesses and implements new or upgraded business processes as necessary. The IT Manager will facilitate the alignment of business operations with the ERP system to improve business operations. This position has overall responsibility for the IFS ERP system across the SIS-FUS locations (Vergennes, VT, Cedar Knolls, NJ and Rome, NY). This position also brings major information technology issues before the Leadership Team at SIS, including policy proposals, new initiatives and strategic plans. The IT Manager provides direction, work assignments and coordinate activities of the IT applications staff. He/she will perform interviewing, hiring and conducting performance/salary activities. Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policy and applicable laws. This position is highly visible and requires frequent interaction with all staff levels, including the SIS Leadership Team, as well as, Goodrich Enterprise IT Management Teams. The IT Manager will report to the SIS-FUS IT Director. The IT Manager will oversee a staff of 5 business analysts. Responsibilities: 'Managerial responsibilities for a team of employees to include defining work schedules, duties, objectives, performance reviews and salary management. 'Manage internal and external customer relationships to gather requirements and provide quality services. 'Evaluate and implement solutions for the business. 'Develop strategic direction for Information Technology. 'Works to ensure projects are completed on-budget and on-time. 'Mentors IT staff and develops succession plans 'Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls compliance. 'A Bachelors Degree is required. An advanced degree would be a decided plus. 'Five years or more of overall experience with an emphasis on ERP systems. 'Knowledge of the IFS ERP system would be a plus. 'Strong management and supervisory skills. 'Focus on results, quality and service. 'Driven by optimizing technologies and personnel to leverage core business strengths while retaining a bottom-line focus. 'Customer-focus and demonstrated ability to create high-performance teams.
