Description: Provide the design, implementation and management support for the Purdue SAN Storage Infrastructure which includes EMC Symmetrx DMX2000, EMC Clariion, NetApp FAS6070 and McData ED-140 Storage Directors. Principle accountabilities include providing reliable, scalable and cost effective storage Technology Solutions to advance the Business. The position also architects, sets strategy, technical priorities, storage standards and procedures. A working knowledge of EMC ECC is required and EMC Centerra working knowledge is a plus. Strong working knowledge of NetApp OnTap and DFM (Operation Manager) experience is also a plus. The principal accountabilities of the Storage IT Lead position include conducting storage performance monitoring, analysis, tuning and provisioning of the Purdue SAN and NAS solutions. Leading storage platform migrations and storage capacity planning projects will also be a function of the position. The analysis, recommendation and implementation of storage archiving and Data De-Duplication solutions will be a function of the position. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting of complex problems and performance issues across storage platforms. Qualifications: Educational Requirements

8+ years of relevant storage management expertise

Technical Skills
Demonstrate mastery of the storage discipline and an advanced knowledge of multiple supportive disciplines and their inter-dependencies.
