Duties and Responsibilities: The Associate Information Consultant - IT Production Control will provide technical assistance for desktop and laptop application packaging and deployment for the corporation. This includes all work associated with the application packaging and deployment process, as well as providing consulting services for small business unit projects. Specific duties include working with clients to determine how to integrate their software into the production operating environment; preparing for and assisting clients with desktop and laptop application installations, upgrades, and other changes including software evaluations; and packaging applications using the Hewlett-Packard Configuration Management (Radia) tool. Additional responsibilities include preparing for and assisting with production testing and deployment of these applications to the production environment.

Education and Experience Requirements: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related discipline. Knowledge of Windows XP systems administration and/or application packaging is desirable. Candidates must have a good understanding of network operating systems, scripting and batch files, and server and workstation hardware/software. Knowledge of Windows Installer and/or network security is a plus. The successful candidate must also have strong organizational and planning skills, as well as demonstrated competency in problem solving, analysis, reasoning, decision making, communications, team work and client relations.
