In comparison to metropolitan areas, the cost of living is a huge improvement with a base salary that is quite high for the area.  Salary range is 70,000 to 90,000 yearly plus benefits and a  relocation package is available. 

We are seeking a creative, driven, and business minded Internet Marketing Communications Manager to help take our marketing communications initiatives to the next level.  This position is responsible for all marketing/communication strategy and execution as well as customer facing impressions via promotions, advertising, public relations, and other media.  Accountable for communicating brand positioning and increasing product sales, supporting key initiatives, and developing a comprehensive strategy to leverage in-house team, as well as external partners.


Essential Functions:

Manages the strategic planning of marketing solutions and public relations efforts, including developing a strategy utilizing Web2.0 concepts to increase product sales through exposure to customers.Establishes annual corporate communications objectives to support company objectives, ensuring goals are met and evaluating program effectiveness.Manages the planning, development and production of promotions, product and project launches for a business to business market, which includes but is not limited to print (direct mail, brochures), and online (e-mail, webinars, video, audio and content re-purposing).Develops, implements and monitors annual planning, production, and media calendars to ensure promotion and product objectives are met for corporate, vendor, and global marketing.Coordinates with manager of eCommerce, product manager, and sales to ensure that all corporate and departmental objectives are balanced with driving sales through consistent positioning, and supporting long-term growth of the brand, product and service offerings.Directs, develops and executes (or oversees execution of) all marketing communications activities such as collateral development, direct mail, events, website, etc.Works with internal or external organizations to write and manage the creation of product or service specific content including: service brochures, data sheets, ad copy, case studies, training, service or product presentations, trade show/conference booth signage/messaging, and website content.Manages and supervises marketing personnel including hiring, training/development, promotions, recognition, discipline, and performance management.  Plans, directs, and monitors the performance objectives of assigned personnel.Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional business relations with customers, distributors, vendors, and trade contacts.

Requirements/Essential Qualifications


Knowledge of:

Direct management of advertising agencies and external marketing firms.Web 2.0 concepts at an operational level, including: webinars, content creation, video, audio, and email marketing.Ability to:Must be able to provide team leadership, mentoring, support and direction as well as be responsible for managing quick resolution of issues or concerns through completion.  Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including writing/developing advertising and promotional materials, processes and procedures, and making presentations to various groups.Develop and implement goals, and objectives for department.Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet as well as other design software and database systems, including: Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Quark.Knowledge of Marketing Automation systems such as Eloqua or Aprimo.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field required, MBA preferred, and a minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible marketing communications, e-commerce, or other related experience.  Must have at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management capacity.Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and launching e-commerce offerings. Experience in utilization of Web 2.0 concepts.Experience in a high-tech or software industry/environment preferred.
