JOB FUNCTIONS

I. Technical Activities 55% of Time

P. Monitor performance to ensure that is available and fully functional. Responsibility includes troubleshooting problems with pages and scripts using Cold Fusion, ASP.NET, HTML and XML.

K. Communicates with Internet Service Provider and various Internet vendors to resolve issues.

L. Monitor server security including firewall, virus protection and any additional security software and hardware.

M. Provides support affiliates in their use of other online resources.

II. Project Activities 45% of Time

Q. Explores new features and technical enhancements in order to improve and update the performance in accordance with marketing objectives. Implement or outsource those enhancements.

R. Serves as Project Manager for a variety of projects.

S. Defines project, prepares preliminary plan, performs operational issues and risk analysis, and prepares a formal plan for review and approval.

T. Identifies, recommends, and coordinates vendor and consultant activities. Provides technical support and performs project control functions throughout project.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Baccalaureate degree in information systems or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years technical experience in web site support and development.

• Background in MIS and/or computer science; strong familiarity with LAN technology and tools.

• Project management experience with emphasis on web development estimating and project development.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have strong customer service orientation.

• Must have strong team orientation.

• Must have good time management and organization skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess sound judgment, discretion and a high degree of professionalism.

• Must have regular and predictable attendance.
