CITY: Stamford STATE: Connecticut COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Essential Functions (Responsibilities): This position is in the International/(US) Equities Research Teams supporting senior analysts and portfolio managers. The responsibilities will include: Support senior analyst in research coverage of a defined universe of IT Services, Software, and Internet companies (International and Domestic). Build financial models and forecasts to support analysis and investment themes. Support/initiate efforts to build industry knowledge, company contacts and market intelligence aligned with senior analyst's coverage and research portfolio responsibilities and related support for portfolio managers based in all GEAM-covered regions. Participate/initiate, in concert with senior analysts' objectives, primary research on investment opportunities, ideas and updates to the senior analyst, Portfolio Managers and the research teams. Develop and sustain frequent contacts with management teams and industry sources as well as utilizing company/industry publications, Wall Street analysts, and the GE network to drive insights, analysis and conclusions. Overseas and domestic research trips required. Insure adherence to all corporate governance/compliance policies. Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree OR a High School diploma/equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of work experience. Ability to travel 10-15% of the time (International and Domestic Willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check. You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT.
