Major International Music/ Entertainment/ Gaming company is seeking an International Tax Manager or Assistant Manager (based on experience-level can change) of International Tax Compliance and Reporting whose primary responsibilities are:

Primary responsibilities:

Hands-on preparations of all related federal compliance including (but not limited to) Forms 5471, 8865, and 8858; focused on more complex matters; Assist in calculation of the Company’s FTC for Form 1118; Preparation of quarterly and year-end FASB 109 foreign tax provision; Analysis and derivation of book/tax differences essential to the calculation of domestic taxable income (i.e., Subpart F, Section 78 gross-ups, ETI, etc.); Quarterly reconciliation of foreign balance sheet tax accounts; Any other tasks related to the operational function of international tax reporting and compliance (maintenance of E&P Pools and other related compliance as needed).

Requirements:

BS in Accounting required; CPA or advanced degree a plus 5+ years related experience, more heavily weighted in the compliance area and statutory reporting. Experience within a public accounting environment desired. Working knowledge/exposure to FASB 109. Experience in the utilization of Tax Compliance software (preference for CorpTax and CorpTax International), as well as strong spreadsheet and/or database management skills (Excel, Access). Solid verbal communication skills; works and interacts well with others.
