Our client is a leading international services firm that is in search of a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee a busy International Accounting Department located in suburban Maryland. This talented professional will lead a staff of 2 accounts through the compilation and creation of international financial statements as well as complex financial analysis.

Job Description:

·        Coordinate the compilation and development of international financial statements including the conversion of financial data into US GAAP compliance and US currency

·        Review all variances and seek supporting evidence from international controllers and staff

·        Coordinate the development of international budgets and forecasts as well as capital expenditure estimates

·        Reconcile all general ledger accounts related to international conversions and analyze as needed

·        Oversee the setup of PeopleSoft accounting systems in accounting departments in foreign markets

Job Requirements:

·        5 or more years progressive accounting experience required

·        Bachelor’s in Accounting required, CPA or CPA candidacy a major plus

·        Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately review and convert complex international financial data

·        Knowledge of the compilation of financial statements and comfort managing others in a fast-paced environment.

·        Excellent communication skills and ability to handle competing deadlines
