Major Duties and Functions Include: We are currently seeking a Business Analyst Intern within the Corporate Benefit Funding IT organization. The selected individual will support a strategic initiative to modernize our operating environment and benchmark our current capabilities against competitors, primarily through research engagements, data consolidation & analysis, and presentation of findings to various business and IT associates within the organization. The ideal candidate would be enrolled in a computing science related degree with an interest in performing a Business Analyst role. Business related majors with a minor in a computing science degree will also be considered. Data gathering via secondary and primary source research Understanding and using effective research methodologies Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to uncover industry, company, and customer trends Creating detailed reports of findings Using data gathered to establish an ongoing maintainable knowledge base of information Effectively communicating research results to both IT and business stakeholders What You Need to Succeed:

Undergraduate enrolled in B.A. or B.S. program from an accredited University preferably studying Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business/Accounting/Marketing with an Information Technology or Business Process focus. Recent graduates or Masters students will also be considered. Effective use of the Internet for research, data mining, and compiling information from various sources Strong written and oral communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred but not required. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects with minimal guidance
