Facilities


Job Description

In this role you will work with the Facilities Engineering team to carry out an operational survey of the HVAC and exhaust systems in use across the facility. Your assessment will identify and formulate some basic strategies to reduce exhaust, make up air, child, heated and deionized water. Furthermore you will provide the facilities management team with insight into our control approaches and process. This project is part of NXP Semiconductors commitment to reducing our environmental impact and footprint in addition to ensuring that our machinery is operating within its optimal levels.


Requirements

As the ideal candidate for this role you are a third or fourth year Mechanical Engineering Student.

You also have:
- A basic understanding of common HVAC principles.
- Experience with controls and are familiar with developing mechanical reports and equipment studies.
- Previous experience in developing studies and/or reports on tools, process and procedures.
- Strong personal, communication, organization and computer skills.
