Intelligence Analyst
Selection and Employment Criteria: • Minimum of four years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational level experience preferred. Experience in either CT, Middle East regional issues and HUMINT or pol/military analysis desired. • Associate's Degree minimum, with Bachelor's Degree preferred. Degree requirement may be waived by designated representative based upon review of resume by customer and strong job related experience or special skills. • Must be proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development. • Must possess strong research and writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. • 35series/ 96B/ 350B/ 18 series equivalents. • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance required. • This position will require performance of work 12 hours/day, 7 days week.
Duties: • The intelligence analyst provides intelligence analytical support to the interrogation team during development and execution of the interrogation plan/cycle, as directed. • The intelligence analyst performs daily collateral and high-side analysis to support interrogations. • The intelligence analyst provides intelligence products and performs intelligence research to support interrogation teams. • The intelligence analyst provides intelligence summaries as a result of each supported interrogation in accordance with unit SOPs. • The intelligence analyst interfaces with higher, lower and adjacent intelligence organizations to fully prepare interrogation team for exploitation of detainees, as well as preparing post interrogation analytical products/assessments that support further targeting efforts, source development and analysis of the threat. . • The Senior CI Agent will manage the scheduling and other administrative actions of the Intelligence Analysts upon coordination with the Government. • Serves as a member of an intelligence analytical team of military and / or civilian analysts under the direction of a C2 analytical staff supervisor. This position provides mid level stability and analytical continuity in a critical mission related function that experiences high military turnover. • Responsible for researching, developing and presenting all source intelligence products at the operational level as part of an overall analytical team. • Responsible for intelligence analysis related to counter-terrorism, Middle East regional issues, political/military analysis and support to targeting.
Security Requirements/Qualifications: Applicants selected must be US citizens and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Top Secret level. Strong writing skills and briefing skills required. Individual must possess strong communicative and interpersonal skills and must be able to solve problems on the ground. Travel within the USCENTCOM AOR is required. Must be willing to work extended hours; sometimes in a field environment.
