Insurance Agent
Responsibilities:
Propose insurance policies to customers by assisting with the application and coverage concerns.
Aid in answering customer questions regarding policy and process renewals.
Receive customer payments and issue receipts.
Verify balance and daily reports of receipts for cash drawers.
Market company products and services to the surrounding area (i.e. car dealership, local events etc).
Understand, promote and remain current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos.
Skills:
Demonstrated sales ability.
Knowledge of insurance laws, regulations and processes.
Ability to analyze and interpret insurance policies and insurance coverage.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Current property/casualty license required
6 months to 1 year of related insurance experience
Willingness to continue insurance education
