Responsibilities
Plans, implements and evaluates educational programs for nursing and other clinical staff. The instructor functions within the established philosophy and goals of the Division of Nursing and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Current New York State registration to practice nursing. Masters degree in Nursing or Nursing Education required. Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience. Has functioned effectively in a teaching capacity in formalized programs of education in a nursing service or nursing education institution or agency. Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills. Certified as a Basic Cardiac Life Support Instructor preferred.
