Job Summary

Responsible for implementing and maintaining on-line content and computer based training. Loads content into pre-set authoring templates. Creates and maintains textual materials. Assigned projects include new lesson development or updates to existing content. Works closely with instructional designer and subject matter experts. Assists in developing lesson content and documents that are clear, well organized, grammatically correct, and adhere to standards. Works with designated reviewers to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of documentation; proactively follows up to obtain feedback. Functions as a liaison between project team members, hotel brand management, and information technology.

Basic Qualifications

- MS Office products experience - Excellent English language usage skills both verbal and written - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong visual design knowledge and skill - Ability to work closely with and collaborate not only interdepartmentally but also with other teams in the same or different locations - 1 year training development or facilitation in a fast paced environment - Ability to use pre-set flash or authorware templates - Proven ability to interview SMEs, to obtain additional information for accurate and relevant training - 1 year experience in instructional design

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Education, English, or other related field Formal certification in instructional design 1 + years operating experience with Hilton Hotels Corporation proprietary property management (OnQ) and rate management systems 1 year training development including creation of storyboards for computer based or internet based training and information delivery 1 year development experience using Author ware, Captivate or Flash Knowledge or experience in all aspects of hotel operations with emphasis on front office
