Instructional Design and Training Coordinator

Description:
Excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader that provides secure Internet communication solutions for email protection, file transfers, and identity validation ensuring that client companies can safely conduct business over the Internet. Essential Functions:
Develops training curricula and engages appropriate internal departments or Subject Matter Experts to meet instructional goals and objectives.
Writing and developing instructional materials that are instructionally sound for adult learning techniques (including handbooks, multimedia visual aids, job aids, leader guides, practical exercises, self-learning and/or Web-based instruction formats).
Analyzes and assesses training and development needs for individual and/or collective clients.
Ability to understand and interpret educational needs and develop effective instructional media solutions, working projects from concept through completion.
Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.
Adjusting documents to standards for style and format in training documents (including writing style, formatting, graphic design and layout).
May participate in organizational development exercises including strategic planning, group facilitation, team building, and systems analysis
Maintains current knowledge of trends and issues in instructional design. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or training-related field, or Minimum experience of five years instructional design, preferably in a corporate environment.
Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate a wide range of training plans, curricula, and methodology.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
2-5 years experience in Actionscript, Javascript, HTML, and XML
Knowledge of FrameMaker 8, Captivate, and Breeze, and various authoring software.
Must have advanced writing and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clients.
Knowledge of adult and cognitive learning theories.
Assessment of training needs and objectives, and designing and developing responsive programs and initiatives.
Ability to determine training objectives.
Ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-based environment.
Project management skills working with both internal and external resources and customers
