Responsible for the inspection of fixed equipment and piping in accordance with API 510 and API 570. Will be responsible for management of inspection data and report writing. Will be required to support the development of routine and turnaround inspection scope recommendations and perform and/or coordinate turnaround inspection execution. Also expected to support Craft Advisors and Engineers with inspection and repair recommendations in accordance with API 510 or NBIC codes. Will also provide routine maintenance support as required.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
API 510 pressure vessel and API 570 piping inspector certifications with a minimum of 5 years experience as an Inspector.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
Any experience in unltrapipe, Risk Based Inspection, Root Cause Failure Analysis, or API 653 Above ground storage tank and/or AWS-CWI certification.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:
Associates degree in Applied Technology

PHYSICAL DEMANDS or UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Climbing, confined space entry, respirator use.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
Database management skills, Economic thinking, technical report writing, familar with purchasing standards for engineered equipment.
