Skyline Steel’s Inside Sales position is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a successful and growing business leading to a career in sales.  The successful candidate will be interested in a career in Outside Sales.  The candidate must be willing to relocate.  The interested candidate meeting these criteria will have an opportunity for sales management opportunities after demonstrated success as an Inside Sales Representative.

 

Qualifications: 

 

Experience in construction, and/or steel industry, or sales a plus but not required 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or Management desirable Professional appearance and good presentation skills Computer literate in current productivity packages such as Excel, Outlook, Word 10% travel annually

Responsibilities include support of all District Sales activities including creating project quotes, coordinating logistics, tracking projects and other customer service functions.  Individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, be detail oriented, computer proficient with a strong customer service aptitude. 

 

Support district sales staff by servicing and managing orders through the entire sales cycle as directed.  Inside Sales representative will develop skills at planning, organizing, directing and controlling all aspects of an order.  Responsibilities to master include developing inquiries, sourcing material, proposing pricing, arranging transportation, organizing logistics, delivery schedules, supplying details for timely billing, and supporting collection effort.

 

Inside Sales person will receive an in-depth education regarding mastery of the skills required for an Outside Sales position at Skyline Steel by successfully supporting and functioning in a District Office environment.  Completion of Inside Sales program will require periods of significant travel to complete the training portions of the program.

 

Perform all other assignments as requested or as necessary to meet business needs.
