Inside Sales Representative

 

 

Job Description

 

·         The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for taking inbound calls from prospective customers.  The sales representative will work the potential customers to convert their residential service, business services, and/or their data services over to Birch.  The sales representative will constantly interact with customers via the telephone to discuss Birch Telecom’s products and services.   Outbound calling is required on referrals and follow-up with customers.

 

 

Objectives and Responsibilities

 

·         Meet or exceed sales objectives in order to receive commission and/or bonus.

·         Complete processing of sales orders.

·         Interface with other departments and vendors as needed.

·         Provide direction on other customer related questions and concerns relative to any of    the Birch telecom service offering.

 

 

 

Qualifications

           

·         One or more years sales experience required.  Call center sales experience preferred

·         PC literate

·         Leadership and teamwork

·         High School graduate or equivalent required; 2 or 4-year college degree preferred

·         Excellent customer relations and contact skills

·         Demonstrated typing skills

·         Good attendance record

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Demonstrated telephone skills

·         Logical problem resolution and decision making skills

·         Well organized and demonstrates ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
