Position Summary American Power Conversion, a Fortune 1000 company headquartered in Rhode Island, is seeking individuals for its Sales Professional Development Program. In this 18-24 month program you will receive extensive training and experience enabling you to become a successful Account Executive at APC. You begin your career in Rhode Island as an Inside Sales Representative (ISR 1) on the Customer Solutions Team (CST), ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while driving revenue growth and market share of APCs products and services in North America. From there you have the opportunity to promote rapidly to a variety of national pro-active roles (Enterprise Account Manager, District Manager, OEM Account Manager, SMB Account Manager, or Enterprise Channel Manager).
Main Responsibilities: - Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities - Develop and strengthen relationships with Customers and Channel Partners - Provide pre-sales support via phone and web technologies - Close business directly and through the channels
Required Skills / Qualifications: - Bachelors degree - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work in a dynamic, global environment - High level of aptitude and interest in technology - Flexibility to travel or relocate - Fluency in English. Bilingual skills a plus
