The phenomenal growth of our world-class business information products and conferences has created the need to build out our sales team to take advantage of the exciting number of business development opportunities emerging in our dynamic marketplaces. We are looking for a select few sales professionals to fill newly created positions on our inside sales team.
As one of our inside sales professionals, you will:
Call on existing and prospective accounts to identify and pursue opportunities for selling our business information products within key market segmentsConvey the business and educational value of our publications and conferences to individual IT professionals and corporate customersFollow up on all leads and opportunities with compelling product offers and solutions that successfully meet the needs of our customers, and effectively close the saleAchieve individual and organizational sales objectivesDevelop, maintain and actively mine an accurate, up-to-date contact database
Our ideal candidates will possess:
· Solid sales skills with at least 1-2 years of telephone sales or sales support experience (conference, high-tech, publishing, professional training industries a plus)
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Understanding of various technologies and/or the ability to quickly learn how our products meet the needs of our customers
· Strong motivation, and the willingness to work hard, have fun and make money
· Great organizational skills
· BA/BS degree
