Scope and Responsibilities of the Inside IT Sales Rep: 

Respond to RFP’s, RFQ’s and quote requests.  Follow-up on open quotes of yours and your Account Manager. Work with Sales Operations to ensure customer satisfaction Work with Outside Account Manager to drive territory penetration/execute on territory sales plans. Provide customer service support Prospect, Cold call and Develop sales leads to new and existing customers through emails and phone calls. Update respective databases. i.e. salesforce, vortex etc. Set-up appointments for Account Manager Manage special pricing from Vendors/Manufacturers Manage day-to-day relationships with customers responding to emails and phone calls of yours and in Account Manager’s absence. Maintain margin goals and sales quota.  Maintain Manufacture certification 

  Qualifications: 

Strong technical knowledge preferrably in SUN and/or Hitachi and the ability to learn a complex line of products and services. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills. Computer skills in Microsoft Suite. High level of dependability HS (4 years exp) or AA degree (2 years exp) Inside sales experience or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, with a concentration in marketing or computer information systems or equivalent
