Job Purpose:

Accomplishes strategic product objectives by identifying, developing and supporting channels; monitoring results; increasing sales; maximizing revenues.

Description:

The Inside Channel Account Manager (ICAM) is responsible for managing accounts within assigned territory by developing and implementing selling programs and proactive customer service policies. The position is responsible for managing all channel functions, including the recruitment, training, and overall development of assigned channel partners to support the sale of Company's Software products. Must have excellent organizational and personal skills and a superior knowledge of Microsoft Office. Minimum 2+ years prior experience in sales role required with demonstrated results in territory management. Previous software/technical/channel sales a plus. Prior experience with Salesforce.com and a Military background preferred.

 Establishes product distribution opportunities by exploring relationships with resellers, distributors, dealers, retailers, systems integrators, franchisers, and licensees; negotiates contracts.

 Monitors results by developing performance and inventory reporting.

 Satisfies customers by developing satisfaction measures; defining and communicating service expectations to channel partners.

 Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

 Increases sales by developing and disseminating product information; managing trade show participation; linking customers' experiences; developing advertising programs, including content and graphics, and sales promotions; advocating cross-product integrations and cross selling; implementing push e-mail, outbound, direct mail, and web marketing programs; maintaining product image across channels.

 Improves product opportunities by monitoring competitive products; recommending improvements; monitoring customer service team interaction with customers.
