Golden Living is searching for an IT Consultant to provide day-to-day information technology support to our nursing homes and related business units in Georgia and Alabama. Duties include but are not limited to problem resolution, staff training, software and hardware implementation, vendor coordination, and technical liaison.
Successful applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent but we strongly prefer Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in computer science and /or teaching or training curriculum. Must possess a high level of proficiency in commonly used software programs to include MS Office products, and a minimum of one to five years of technical experience that directly relates to a PC environment; or certified technical training with related work experience as a user of PC products. Prefer someone with experience as a business office specialist, technical specialist, clinical specialist or consultant in a long-term care environment. Position consists of approx 40% training related duties and you would provide service to 20 facilities in Georgia and 18 facilities in Alabama. The percentage of Travel is affected by an applicants geographic location. (For example if you live in the Atlanta area travel is estimated at 45%, other areas in Georgia and Alabama would most likely be 55% or more.) This position does required overnight stays for onsite technical and/or training support. This is a home based position and the company does provide you a Company car.
