Under the direction of the Lead Information Steward, the incumbent is responsible for leadership in the design and implementation of information stewardship strategies across the enterprise. Strategies are to be developed within the context of global business processes and associated master data necessary for the successful implementation of the COMET program, ongoing SAP platform and non-SAP business operations. The responsibility of the incumbent includes assisting in defining the organizational goals, measures of success, staff sizing, job roles, adopting and refining known process definitions and operating procedures, and developing service level agreements. The incumbent must ensure that the design includes functional capability such as the definition of data policy, execution of change management processes for data definitions and business rules, measurement, monitoring, and reporting on data quality, determining appropriate security access, and resolving data usage issues. In addition to strategy development the incumbent will lead and manage delivery of data management through the SAP implementation. The incumbent will maintain ownership of global processes, policies, SLA's and change management. In this capacity, the incumbent must demonstrate organizational leadership, the ability to manage a service to sustain and improve operational capability, and the ability to manage internal customers and demand for services. The incumbent needs to stay current with industry best practices, and participate as a member of internal/external communities of practice. The incumbent’s responsibilities can be global, regional or site depending on position within the business process, but encompasses all master data principles.
Required:A minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience. Knowledge of SAP required.
Desired:Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes. Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Teamwork and collaborative focus. Knowledge of Six Sigma preferred.
Education Requirement:Bachelor's Degree required, concentration in a business (Supply Chain, Project Management, Logistics Planning, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, Business Planning) a plus.
